Parliant PhoneValet is a hardware/software solution for connecting your Mac to your phone (your landline or a VoIP connection that supports an analog telephone adapter). PhoneValet can both make outgoing calls and receive incoming calls.
Dialectic works with PhoneValet to simplify dialing by enabling it to be used as a Dial Method used with your Dialing Rules. This allows you to dial from any of the Dialectic number menus, the Services menu, or any of the other methods Dialectic supports for dialing. For more information on dialing PhoneValet from Dialectic, see the PhoneValet Dial Method section.
In addition to dialing PhoneValet from Dialectic, the two can be further integrated to allow PhoneValet to notify Dialectic when it receives an incoming call. This notification can be basic (simply telling Dialectic to add the call to the Call Log) or it can be more robust telling it to act on the call as if it had detected the call itself allowing you to trigger all of the incoming call actions.
For more information on this, please see the PhoneValet documentation and the Dialectic Online Resources:
