Dialectic is intended to be unobtrusive. Once configured, it is possible to use the application in such a way that the only indication it is running is a small icon on the right side of the menu bar — that and the fact that you can now dial your phone from your Mac!
However, while Dialectic can be run using a minimal interface, there still are several menus, windows, and controls that you should be familiar with if you want to make the most of the application. See the following sections for more information on using the Dialectic interface.
