If a phone number is provided using letters, and you want to convert to numbers just for your own information (without dialing the number), use the Converter window. The Converter window is one of the three utility windows that you can summon from the main window.
To summon the Converter window, click the A button in the main window. Or, if the main window is not open, choose Show Main Window > Show Converter from the main menu.
The Converter window contains a single text field. Enter a phone number containing letters, and press return; the letters in the phone number will be converted to their keypad numeric equivalents, and the resulting all-numeric phone number will be displayed in the same field. You may copy and paste from this field to your contact manager to update a mnemonic number to its numeric equivalent for future reference.
To dismiss the Converter window, click the A button in the main window again (or summon a different utility window). Or, choose Hide Main Window > Hide Converter from the main menu.
