In addition to the JPT Contextual Menu, you can also use the system-wide Services menu to send the currently selected text to JPT to dial or add it to your Quick Dial list. When adding selected text to JPT as a Quick Dial entry, if the text you select contains a tab character, then the text before the tab will be used as the name and the text following the tab will be used as the number. If no tab is found, the entire text will be used as the number with a generic label. The JPT Services do not offer default hotkey support but you can easily add your own customized hotkeys to the JPT Services by using the excellent freeware preference pane “Services Manager” (http://www.blacktree.com/apps/servicemanager/index.html). This software allows you to turn on and off installed services as well as define your own hotkeys for them.
