Dialing through CallVantage
If you have subscribed to AT&T’s VoIP service, CallVantage, then you may use this as your Dial Method when dialing from JPT.

Select “Dial through CallVantage” in the “Dial Method” section of the preferences and enter your CallVantage number (not the number you are dialing) and password. Now, when you dial from JPT, a connection will be made to the CallVantage website with your login information. When accepted, your CallVantage number will ring and when you answer, the CallVantage system will then attempt to connect to the number you have dialed from JPT. As with all calls placed through JPT, all standard CallVantage tolls still apply. Note: This method requires an active internet connection.
As with other internet connections, your system may require the connection to the CallVantage site to be routed through a proxy server (the CallVantage site requires a secure — HTTPS — connection). If you need to use a proxy server, JPT will read the proxy information from your Network preferences. However, if a username and password is required for your setup, you will need to enter it in JPT each time you launch the application. You can do this by clicking the “Proxy Settings...” button. For more information, see the “Proxies” help section.
