Dialectic can receive information from a number of sources. Since you’ve already got your contact data in a contact management application, it makes sense to just use this data. Dialectic makes this easy as it integrates with several contact management applications. The contact managers that Dialectic works with are:
- Address Book
- Marketcircle Daylite
- Microsoft Entourage
- Microsoft Outlook
- Now Contact
- Now X
- Palm Desktop
In addition to receiving information from these applications, Dialectic can also send information to them. This section details the access points — both receiving & sending — with which Dialectic interacts with these applications. In the locations where Dialectic can send or receive data to these applications, to simplify the interface, if a specific contact management application is not installed on your computer, it will not appear as an option from within Dialectic. If you subsequently install one of the supported applications, simply relaunch Dialectic and it will appear in the various menus and locations for integration with Dialectic.
